On February 2nd, 2022, HSPVA students created handmade cards and letters for patients at the Veterans Hospital.
The cards expressed words of well wishes, gratitude, and positivity to brighten the veterans’ day. Along with card titles such as “You Inspire Me” to “Sending You Hugs” and even funny puns, students included hand-drawn art and shaped cut-outs.
The cards will be gifted to the Veterans Hospital as accompaniment to the upcoming Mini-Concert with the DeBakey VA Medical Center.
Despite the lockdown due to the pandemic, the Mini-Concert will be shared virtually via a DVD disc containing arts performances by talented youth, such as dance, vocals, and various instrumental music.
