On November 14th, 2021, Light Up Network hosted an art therapy event with Noah’s House, a Houston non-profit for seniors and single adults with disabilities.
It was wonderful to partner with Noah’s House again after months; our first ever art therapy event had been with Noah’s House in March of 2020, right before the pandemic.
Due to quarantine, we had been unable to do another art therapy event, but we finally had the opportunity to do so after over a year.
During today’s art therapy event, the seniors created All-About-Me collages where they included magazine cut-outs, stickers, and drawings in a collage that summed up their interests, ranging from favorite animals, colors, hobbies, and more.
It was so much fun creating these art pieces with the residents, and we can’t wait to be back again!
